Marshall "Turbo" Bader was a silly, funny, smart, and active 9-year-old boy who loved his family and friends. To know Marshall was to love him. Although his time on Earth was too short, his impact was great! Marshall was full of charisma and charm and will forever be remembered for his sweet freckled face smile, contagious laugh and big heart. Marshall loved animals, his dog Roxy, farming, brownies, joking around and especially...competing and WINNING! Marshall was a small kid in stature but with a big heart. He was gifted athletically, excelling in all the sports he played, especially on the soccer field and the hockey rink. Marshall was given the nickname ‘Turbo’ for his work ethic, speed, determination, and grit. Marshall died in a farming accident in January 2020 at the age of 9. Many of our Grand Rapids players either knew Marshall as a classmate, teammate, or friend and have been left with a hole in their lives because he is not here with them. Our Grand Rapids Area Soccer teams and players are proud to continue to honor Marshall.
