Lake Superior Open

Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Recommended Age Groups: U10 to U18 (Boys and Girls)
Confirmed 2025 Dates: June 27–29, 2025
Driving Distance from Grand Rapids, MN: Approximately 80 miles
Rationale: A staple in previous seasons, though feedback noted issues with organization and use of non-certified officials last year.

DL Rotary Cup

Location: Detroit Lakes, Minnesota
Recommended Age Groups: U10 to U18 (Boys and Girls)
Estimated 2025 Dates: July 11-12, 2025
Driving Distance from Grand Rapids, MN: Approximately 125 miles
Rationale: Provides quality competition and is relatively close to Grand Rapids.

Duluth Head of the Lakes Tournament

Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Recommended Age Groups: U10 to U18 (Boys and Girls)
Estimated 2025 Dates: July 18–20, 2025
Driving Distance from Grand Rapids, MN: Approximately 80 miles
Rationale: A well-regarded tournament showcasing regional talent, conveniently located near Grand Rapids.

Lodging

For tournaments with room blocks:

Please attempt to stay at the team hotel(s) if at all possible
We recommend booking 2 nights and adjusting based on game schedule. Game schedules are typically available 5-10 days prior to the event.
Teams must always be prepared to play Friday and/or early Saturday morning and Sundays
These tournaments pre-book all rooms at hotels as stay-n-play in a 10mile radius or more, so don’t wait or you may not find a room! DO NOT WAIT.

Detroit Lakes Rotary Cup
